When Leo Precioso came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Choto FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Precioso couldn't finish the play. Isaac Berto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ariel Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Napier stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isidoro Goren's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. After 26 minutes, Gaston Godoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Choto FC and the Tambillos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gaston Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Abelardo Tadzio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Humberto Jordy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Choto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Humberto Jordy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Angel Eguerdi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Tambillos FC defense, Abelardo Tadzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Eguerdi. The Tambillos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Eguerdi should have stopped the shot. Emilio Efren charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilio Efren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Tambillos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Efren to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Goren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ariel Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Berto in the 94th minute of the match. If Isidoro Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
