After a defensive mix-up in Los pinos's zone, Gerardo Abad stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceferino Goren came out of the goal and Gerardo Abad tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Dionisio Estevon could shoot a difficult shot in the 41st minute, which Marcial Pere however easily saved by the left post. Ceferino Goren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Lauaxeta's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Parque Norte were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Silvestre Lauaxeta made the kick off in the second half.
