Rolando Luzea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Caetano in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute Bartolo Cordaryal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Hubbart's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Valentine came free, but Rolando Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Caton's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Patrón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arsenio Caton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Arsenio Caton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the game, Severiano Valentine recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rolando Luzea. Severiano Valentine showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Severiano Valentine fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Club Atlético Patrón's Arnaldo Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Aztore in the 20th minute of play. Tomás Caetanos short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Rolando Luzea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 28 minutes into the match, Hubbart's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Valentine came free, but Rolando Luzea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Garci scored 1-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Frechoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Caton in the 38th minute of play forced Club Atlético Patrón's goalkeeper Arnaldo Frechoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Bartolo Cordaryal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Frechoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Bartolo Cordaryal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Patrón's Arnaldo Frechoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Aztore in the 44th minute of play. With his leg Rolando Luzea managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Club Atlético Patrón's Tomás Caetano fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Hubbart's zone, Severiano Valentine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Luzea came out of the goal and Severiano Valentine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th match minute, Hubbart was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Aztore to maneuver through the defense. When Club Atlético Patrón's Tomás Caetano in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hubbart's goalie prevented a goal. Rolando Luzea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severiano Valentine went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Club Atlético Patrón getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Severiano Valentine hit a great ball. When Paulino Garci fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hubbart's protests and gave Paulino Garci a yellow card for diving instead. Paulino Garci kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Severiano Valentine took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Luzea. Rolando Luzea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Rolando Luzea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Valentine in the 84th minute of the match. Club Atlético Patrón's Arnaldo Frechoso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Patrón from getting a goal against them. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hubbart players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Club Atlético Patrón.
