Machete FC's Ubaldo Matildo Clemente proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Machete FC from getting a goal against them. With 8 minutes on the clock, Gonzalo Breogan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Machete FC's Gonzalo Breogan got a free kick in the 8th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Damazy Ciszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. VILLA MITRE's supporters rose to their feet, but Damazy Ciszewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Matildo Clemente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Matildo Clemente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Theobald, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Walter Ortiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Asur, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Eleder in the 18th minute of play forced VILLA MITRE's goalkeeper Walter Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, VILLA MITRE's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Eduino came free, but Walter Ortiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Eduino in the 24th minute of play forced VILLA MITRE's goalkeeper Walter Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Machete FC's Saul Eleder made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Walter Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walter Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Eduino in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Saul Eleder notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of VILLA MITRE's Walter Ortiz. Walter Ortiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Vince de Pelsmaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Damazy Ciszewski came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the VILLA MITRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damazy Ciszewski couldn't finish the play. Damazy Ciszewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Cutberto in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damazy Ciszewski was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Machete FC's Saul Eleder dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Erik Lamela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ubaldo Matildo Clemente tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, VILLA MITRE's Daniel Phelipe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Daniel Phelipe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of VILLA MITRE protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Daniel Phelipe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of VILLA MITRE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Machete FC:s goal. VILLA MITRE:s Walter Ortiz showed great skill when he stopped Carolo Ferrer:s penalty. Carolo Ferrer received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Walter Ortiz came out and tried to block the shot, but Carolo Ferrer slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 72nd minute. Walter Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Fabian Cucao sent off a good shot on target. In the 79th minute, Vince de Pelsmaker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Lamela in the 81st minute of play forced Machete FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Clemente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Erik Lamela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Erik Lamela came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the VILLA MITRE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erik Lamela couldn't finish the play. VILLA MITRE's Walter Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save VILLA MITRE from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, VILLA MITRE's goalkeeper Walter Ortiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Cucao. Marcial Argoitz charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcial Argoitz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Machete FC! The crowd rose to their feet as Machete FC's Carolo Ferrer slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Walter Ortiz. That made the score 0-5 after 96 minutes of play. With a little luck, VILLA MITRE's Walter Ortiz got control of the ball when Joaquin Playo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
