The referee showed Marcos Marino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 13 minutes into the match, Marlboro F.C.'s Timoteo Blai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Desiderio Rutenio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Timoteo Blai got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 19 played minutes La Pecadora Tropitango got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Ezkerra. Marlboro F.C.'s Timoteo Blai got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Marcelo Guerau rounded La Pecadora Tropitango's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Timoteo Blai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Desiderio Rutenio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Enzo Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Marcelo Guerau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcelo Guerau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Desiderio Rutenio having to interfere. When Mauricio Venceslas came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the La Pecadora Tropitango fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mauricio Venceslas couldn't finish the play. If Enzo Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The supporters of Marlboro F.C. booed when La Pecadora Tropitango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariel Gerazan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aquilino Otsando made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Enzo Ospin sent off a good shot on target. 61 minutes into the match, Timoteo Blai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Desiderio Rutenio. La Pecadora Tropitango's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Timoteo Blai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to La Pecadora Tropitango getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Candido Nerio hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Marlboro F.C.'s goalkeeper Aquilino Otsando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enzo Ospin. After a rather tough play, La Pecadora Tropitango's Cristobal Ezkerra got a free kick in the 81st minute. Desiderio Rutenio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Guerau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Pecadora Tropitango's Cristobal Ezkerra got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Cristobal Ezkerra off the ground. In the 86th minute, Cristobal Ezkerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcelo Guerau struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Desiderio Rutenio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marlboro F.C.. La Pecadora Tropitango's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
