In the 23rd minute, Lobocó AFC's Cirilo Jaunzuria seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Cirilo Jaunzuria the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Lobocó AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cirilo Jaunzuria had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Lobocó AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 22nd minute. Penalty! If Marco Pedroso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Domingos Paskal from long distance, 31 minutes into the match, got Desiderio Rutenio's attention. After the first half La Pecadora Tropitango were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mauricio Venceslas was the one to do the kick off. Inocencio Perrando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Venceslas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mauricio Venceslas in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Perrando prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
