Marlboro F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Timoteo Blai was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Marlboro F.C.'s Aquilino Otsando got control of the ball when Joaquin Playo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 87th minute Timoteo Blai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Clemente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Cucao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Aquilino Otsando made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Machete FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Marlboro F.C..
