Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Higinio Barea got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mijayi F.C.'s goalkeeper Apolo Toribio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 7 minutes into the game, Alonzo Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mijayi F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chucuma the free kick. Alonzo Marques hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Apolo Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bertin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Celestino Rivero in the 13th minute really tested Apolo Toribio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Apolo Toribio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Bertin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gervasio Joseph received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Apolo Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mijayi F.C.'s Apolo Toribio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Mijayi F.C. from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Emanuel Bertin took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Apolo Toribio to make any attempt to save it. Emanuel Bertin took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Apolo Toribio. Apolo Toribio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Barea in the 27th minute of play forced Chucuma's goalkeeper Rodolfo Eufemio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chucuma's Eugenio Cibran got a free kick in the 28th minute. Melchor Beliran hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 34 minutes into the match, Mijayi F.C.'s goalkeeper Apolo Toribio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervasio Joseph. After 36 played minutes Mijayi F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Melchor Beliran. After 39 minutes Mijayi F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Birila who took care of the corner kick. In the 40th match minute, Mijayi F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Franco to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes, Valentin Maule mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mijayi F.C. and the Chucuma players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Chucuma booed when Mijayi F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Maule didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervasio Joseph could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Apolo Toribio made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emanuel Bertin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Mijayi F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Bertin came free, but Apolo Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aldo Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rodolfo Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Eguzki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Maule was shown his second yellow card after 57 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 58th match minute, Mijayi F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Maule to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute, Emanuel Bertin made a precise shot to the right of Apolo Toribio. Mijayi F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Mijayi F.C.'s Aldo Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gervasio Joseph sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Rodolfo Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Ivan Birila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 78 minutes, Gervasio Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chucuma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Joseph was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Apolo Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Bertin in the 87th minute of play. Gervasio Joseph might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Apolo Toribio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gervasio Joseph ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chucuma had won after a very even match.
