The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Desiderio Cordarrol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Desiderio Cordarrol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Dalmai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristo Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ramallo FC's Tiburcio Dalmai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Cordarrol in the 92nd minute of play. Despite being the better team, Ramallo FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
