Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gaston Silva kicked off to start the match. Luciano Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Nerio in the 3rd minute of play. Gaston Silva struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Aristides Henry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Shen Long FC. After 14 played minutes, Dorrego's Constantino Domeka shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luciano Rodriguez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dorrego reached it. Guaberto Jakue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Luciano Rodriguez made a huge save. A collision led to Shen Long FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Javier Correa hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Constantino Domeka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gaston Silva came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Shen Long FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Silva couldn't finish the play. In the 25thth minute of the game Teofilo Mendiko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Shen Long FC's Luciano Rodriguez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Teofilo Mendiko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Rodriguez having to interfere. Guaberto Jakue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Luciano Rodriguez made a huge save. A collision led to Dorrego getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Anastasio Arixo hit a great ball. Aristides Henry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaston Silva's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Luciano Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Mendiko, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Mendiko in the 41st minute of play forced Shen Long FC's goalkeeper Luciano Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, one of Shen Long FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Constantino Domeka placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teofilo Mendiko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Shen Long FC got a freekick which was hit by Javier Correa. 59 minutes into the game, Teofilo Mendiko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Luciano Rodriguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guaberto Jakue in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luciano Rodriguez saved Shen Long FC from getting behind. In the 64th minute of the match Constantino Domeka shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Rodriguez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 67 played minutes Shen Long FC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Oriol. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Mendiko's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano Rodriguez was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. Teofilo Mendiko hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Shen Long FC made a substitution. Simon Nel replaced Gaston Silva. In the 79th minute, Amadeo Olayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Teofilo Mendiko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Shen Long FC's Luciano Rodriguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Mendiko in the 91st minute of play. In the 96th minute, Claudio Aguirre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Dorrego players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
