Benicio Indar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Sayveon having to interfere. After 6 minutes, Niceto Steven mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Black Lions and the Virreyes FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Virreyes FC booed when Black Lions was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Steven didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Virreyes FC's Alfonso Fernandes to fire away a dangerous shot which Jeremias Sayveon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Virreyes FC's Ramiro Fanuco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eleuterio Milian in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Virreyes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Ubarna came free, but Ramiro Fanuco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Teodosio Birjaio came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Virreyes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Birjaio couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Sayveon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Fernandes in the 16th minute of the match. When Virreyes FC's Teodosio Birjaio in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Lions's goalie prevented a goal. After 20 played minutes Virreyes FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Librado. In the 23rd minute, Niceto Steven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Black Lions's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Fernandes came free, but Jeremias Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Sayveon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodosio Birjaio in the 28th minute of the match. Ramiro Fanuco came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Black Lions's Eleuterio Milian. But to his dismay, Eleuterio Milian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Alfonso Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jeremias Sayveon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Benicio Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 39 minutes, Benicio Indar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Virreyes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Indar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Teodosio Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfonso Fernandes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Jeremias Sayveon made a huge save. Teodosio Birjaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jeremias Sayveon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Black Lions's zone, Alfonso Fernandes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremias Sayveon came out of the goal and Alfonso Fernandes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodosio Birjaio to strike the kick off in the second half. If Prospero Sayveon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jeremias Sayveon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prospero Sayveon in the 54th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Niceto Steven kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ramiro Fanuco. That made the score 0-2 in the 56 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Ubarna in the 59th minute of play forced Virreyes FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Fanuco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Benicio Indar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virreyes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Indar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Sayveon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodosio Birjaio scored 1-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Sayveon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Fernandes in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremias Sayveon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Virreyes FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
