Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Guaberto Dominic started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Pipo Palomo defense, David Savier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcos Pueblo. The Pipo Palomo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcos Pueblo should have stopped the shot. Vladimiro Ekialde charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vladimiro Ekialde the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Toba booed when Pipo Palomo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vladimiro Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pipo Palomo's zone, Elpidio Martxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Pueblo came out of the goal and Elpidio Martxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 9 minutes, Guaberto Dominic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pipo Palomo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Dominic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 12th minute, Baltasar Llorienzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Toba's Baltasar Llorienzo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Pueblo. That made the score 2-0 after 15 minutes of play. In the 18th match minute, Pipo Palomo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Fulgencio Ekaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Guaberto Dominic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Pipo Palomo's Felix Hunfredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Columbo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Guaberto Dominic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Columbo having to interfere. After 42 played minutes, Pipo Palomo's Ermegildo Laurgain shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Silverio Columbo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pipo Palomo reached it. In the 43rd minute, Oscar Vincent hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 44th minute of the match Vladimiro Ekialde completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vladimiro Ekialde a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Pipo Palomo getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Vladimiro Ekialde hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Fulgencio Ekaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Toba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fulgencio Ekaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltasar Llorienzo to strike the kick off in the second half. Alejandro Domenec hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Martxel in the 53rd minute of play forced Pipo Palomo's goalkeeper Marcos Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baltasar Llorienzo in the 56th minute of play. After 57 played minutes Pipo Palomo got a freekick which was hit by Denis Egoi. Elpidio Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Marcos Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Columbo having to interfere. A collision led to Pipo Palomo getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Nicasio Arano hit a great ball. If Baltasar Llorienzo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Martxel struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Marcos Pueblo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toba. Felix Hunfredo came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silverio Columbo could save by the left post. After having played for 82 minutes, Hilario Lehoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pipo Palomo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Lehoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Savier during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Savier kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Felix Hunfredo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Silverio Columbo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Marcos Pueblo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elpidio Martxel in the 90th minute of the match. Hilario Lehoi's late challenge caught a Toba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Lehoi helped the player get up and apologised. Hilario Lehoi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Hunfredo got free with Silverio Columbo in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
