Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hector Veronica kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute, Pedro Dolfos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club de Acassuso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Hector Veronica fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Quinton having to interfere. Vinicio Xabel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Angelo Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anselmo Hulberto hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to Racing Club de Acassuso getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rigoberto Ferrando hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Veronica in the 16th minute of play forced Racing Club de Acassuso's goalkeeper Angelo Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Hector Veronica reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Angelo Quinton. The goal made the score 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Palo FC's zone, Urbano Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Liberto came out of the goal and Urbano Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Pedro Dolfos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palo FC's Hugo Liberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Palo FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Aaron Txindoki hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Aaron Txindoki got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Urbano Torres sped through Palo FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Hugo Liberto. Palo FC's Vinicio Xabel got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Vinicio Xabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Urbano Torres came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Racing Club de Acassuso fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Torres couldn't finish the play. Angelo Quinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Veronica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Pedro Dolfos made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Basajaun charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Basajaun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Racing Club de Acassuso booed when Palo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Basajaun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Abascal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hugo Liberto. Palo FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 55 minutes, Hector Veronica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector Veronica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbano Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Hugo Liberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urbano Torres scored 1-3 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Liberto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Racing Club de Acassuso's Pedro Dolfos got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Palo FC's Hugo Liberto got control of the ball when Urbano Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Pedro Dolfos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hugo Liberto. Pedro Dolfos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Hector Veronica received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Angelo Quinton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th match minute, Palo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ignacio Elixio to maneuver through the defense. In the 87thth minute of the game Pedro Dolfos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palo FC's Hugo Liberto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aquilino Tonio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Palo FC's Aaron Txindoki got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Racing Club de Acassuso's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
