Spectators: 7203 (Terracing: 5404, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Timoteo Rodriguez started the match with the kick off. Anselmo Pelayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Daniel Clemencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 9 minutes, Paolo Gartxot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Gartxot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Daniel Clemencin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Paolo Gartxot showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 12 minute of play. After 16 minutes, Celedonio Horado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esperanza AFC and the Union de sunchales players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Esperanza AFC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Celedonio Horado hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, Anselmo Pelayo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Clemencin, 3-0. 3-1 became the score in the 35th minute when Timoteo Rodriguez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 44th minute Eugenio Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Gartxot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Daniel Clemencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Gartxot to make the kick off. Union de sunchales's Daniel Clemencin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Pelayo in the 56th minute of play. Eugenio Theobald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Galindo having to interfere. A collision led to Union de sunchales getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Benigno Abaurre hit a great ball. The supporters of Esperanza AFC booed when Union de sunchales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Clemencin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Union de sunchales's Daniel Clemencin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Guillelmus in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Severo Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute Timoteo Rodriguez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Galindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruben Galindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Timoteo Rodriguez's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Ruben Galindo made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Eugenio Theobald sent off a good shot on target. Paolo Gartxot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Union de sunchales players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Esperanza AFC.
