Paolo Gartxot took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Orlando Efraim. Orlando Efraim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Luisito Gervaso's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Ruben Galindo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Narciso Salvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ruben Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esperanza AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Galindo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Paolo Gartxot struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Orlando Efraim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esperanza AFC. Celso Raebert's late challenge caught a Esperanza AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celso Raebert helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 23 minutes, Paolo Gartxot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperanza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paolo Gartxot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Esperanza AFC's Anselmo Pelayo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orlando Efraim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Luisito Gervaso made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Galindo. Esperanza AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ruben Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paolo Gartxot recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Celso Raebert was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Narciso Salvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Esperanza AFC's Gualterio Guillelmus got a free kick in the 46th minute. Ruben Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narciso Salvino in the 48th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Narciso Salvino to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Paolo Gartxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Efraim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
