An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Argina in the 12th minute of play forced Pataduras FC's goalkeeper Silverio Bernebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pataduras FC's Silverio Bernebe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Argina in the 16th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Jose Argina fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Braulio Eguen charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Braulio Eguen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pataduras FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Braulio Eguen hit a great ball. In the 26th minute, Nicanor Laurin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Generoso Harkaitz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Jose Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jose Argina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Chelsea F.C getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rodolfo Jacindo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea F.C's zone, Nicanor Laurin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Harkaitz came out of the goal and Nicanor Laurin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Jose Argina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Argina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Abalos kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Jose Argina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose Argina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Bernebe having to interfere. Lino Menendo charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Menendo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Pataduras FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pataduras FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
