Denis Orkatz came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Union de sunchales's Eugenio Theobald. But to his dismay, Eugenio Theobald quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Pasta Base FC booed when Union de sunchales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 28 played minutes, Pasta Base FC's Jacobo Dominguez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Daniel Clemencin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. When Casimiro Bonifaco came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pasta Base FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Bonifaco couldn't finish the play. In the 36th play minute Celestino Ellande came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Daniel Clemencin. 1-1. The Pasta Base FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Orkatz should have stopped the shot. Celestino Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Daniel Clemencin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Union de sunchales were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Bonifaco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pasta Base FC's Denis Orkatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Rodriguez in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Pasta Base FC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bonifacio Bide hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Union de sunchales's Timoteo Rodriguez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Denis Orkatz. Denis Orkatz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Ellande in the 65th minute of play forced Union de sunchales's goalkeeper Daniel Clemencin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Casimiro Bonifaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Denis Orkatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eugenio Theobald in the 73rd minute. Casimiro Bonifaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 81st minute, Jacobo Dominguez sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Union de sunchales's Daniel Clemencin didn't even have to move. Benigno Abaurre hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Bonifacio Bide took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Clemencin. Union de sunchales's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Cornelio Tercero kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Timoteo Rodriguez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Union de sunchales's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Rodriguez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Orkatz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Bonifaco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
