Spectators: 7196 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 50) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Felix Balasi kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ovidio Padro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ruben Galindo. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 9th minute, Esperanza AFC's Severo Leizarraga seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Severo Leizarraga the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Esperanza AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Severo Leizarraga had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 9 minutes into the game, one of Esperanza AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ruben Galindo went to the wrong direction when Vinicio Saturnin was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 14th play minute Felix Balasi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ruben Galindo. 2-0. In the 27th minute, Jonathan Rosario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruben Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidio Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Jonathan Rosario kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Esperanza AFC's Ruben Galindo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Esperanza AFC from getting a goal against them. Felix Balasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ruben Galindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Balasi got free with Ruben Galindo in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute, Felix Balasi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Independiente FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Ruben Galindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Balasi, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Ruben Galindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Anselmo Pelayo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silvio Gartzea. That made the score 3-1 in the 54 minute of play. Anselmo Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Independiente FC's Silvio Gartzea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Independiente FC from getting a goal against them. In the 66th minute, Francisco Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Galindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. 80 minutes into the game, Celso Giraldo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Esperanza AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independiente FC the free kick. After 80 played minutes Esperanza AFC got a freekick which was hit by Celso Giraldo. Paolo Gartxot tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Ruben Galindo. An unnecessary self made goal, 5-1 in the 83rd minute. In the 91st minute, Ovidio Padro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ruben Galindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. Independiente FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
