Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luisito Obeko started the match with the kick off. Wilfredo Bieito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Bonifaco's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. Arsenio Sanchez hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Celestino Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Ellande in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilfredo Bieito saved Saavedra from getting behind. When Casimiro Bonifaco came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Pasta Base FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casimiro Bonifaco couldn't finish the play. If Celestino Ellande had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 14thth minute of the game Celestino Ellande who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saavedra's Wilfredo Bieito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Casimiro Bonifaco struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Wilfredo Bieito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pasta Base FC. In the 19th minute, Celestino Ellande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 23 minutes into the game, Pasta Base FC's Casimiro Bonifaco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilfredo Bieito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Haroldo Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Denis Orkatz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Celestino Ellande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilfredo Bieito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Celestino Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Wilfredo Bieito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Pasta Base FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Casimiro Bonifaco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Luisito Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Obeko in the 58th minute of play forced Pasta Base FC's goalkeeper Denis Orkatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Bonifaco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Wilfredo Bieito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 66 minutes into the match, Pasta Base FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Obeko came free, but Denis Orkatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Saavedra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Basualdo to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Dominguez, 69 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Casimiro Bonifaco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Bieito having to make a save. After some careless play in the Pasta Base FC defense, Luisito Obeko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Denis Orkatz. The Pasta Base FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Denis Orkatz should have stopped the shot. Wilfredo Bieito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Bonifaco in the 81st minute of play. Denis Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Perico, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Bonifacio Bide's late challenge caught a Saavedra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Bide helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pasta Base FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Bonifacio Bide hit a great ball. Luis Sidro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 86th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aaron Orain hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Denis Orkatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Obeko, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Bonifaco in the 95th minute of play forced Saavedra's goalkeeper Wilfredo Bieito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute Luisito Obeko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Orkatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pasta Base FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
