Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aquilino Lopez took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Ciro Otsando fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Español's protests and gave Ciro Otsando a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Español's zone, Zeledon Rosalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cecilio Lorenz came out of the goal and Zeledon Rosalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aquilino Lopez in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roman Ziemniak saved KUT Football Club from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Aquilino Lopez put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Roman Ziemniak. KUT Football Club's Roman Ziemniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nereo Jacindo in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, KUT Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Jacindo came free, but Roman Ziemniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquilino Lopez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roman Ziemniak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Aquilino Lopez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Roman Ziemniak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 33 minutes into the match, KUT Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Lopez came free, but Roman Ziemniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by KUT Football Club's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teobaldo Ritchie was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Deportivo Español's players had a chance to rest. Teobaldo Ritchie made a great header on Club Deportivo Español's corner, it was just that KUT Football Club's Roman Ziemniak managed to reach the ball for a save. If Zeledon Rosalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Truylos charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcelino Truylos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd match minute, KUT Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelino Truylos to maneuver through the defense. 45 minutes into the match, KUT Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Nereo Jacindo came free, but Roman Ziemniak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club Deportivo Español's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Zeledon Rosalio 48 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zeledon Rosalio to strike the kick off in the second half. KUT Football Club's Roman Ziemniak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquilino Lopez in the 58th minute of play. Aquilino Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Roman Ziemniak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Nereo Jacindo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Ziemniak was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Nereo Jacindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Ziemniak having to interfere. Zeledon Rosalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cecilio Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Truylos in the 69th minute of play. If Aquilino Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 79 in the game by Nereo Jacindo from a close distance when the talented Roman Ziemniak managed to make a qualified save. KUT Football Club's players were relieved. After having played for 81 minutes, Marcelino Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KUT Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Truylos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nereo Jacindo came free with the goalkeeper in the 85th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Roman Ziemniak could save by the left post. Zeledon Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Roman Ziemniak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Lopez in the 97th minute of the match. Chants of Club Deportivo Español echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as KUT Football Club had held the ball for most of the match.
