To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 18 minutes into the match, ATLETICO EMPALME's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Batista came free, but Ambrosio Presebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ATLETICO EMPALME's Juan Domenec got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute Daniel Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Presebal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Robustiano Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 35 played minutes Altamira got a freekick which was hit by Cirilo Nabar. Daniel Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Rumaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ambrosio Presebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saverio Peli stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arsenio Sansone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Peli, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Saverio Peli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Sansone having to interfere. Altamira's Daniel Batista got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ambrosio Presebal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robustiano Rumaldo in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Altamira's Eustaquio Tino sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ambrosio Presebal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Altamira's Daniel Batista in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arsenio Sansone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Daniel Batista made a precise shot to the right of Ambrosio Presebal. ATLETICO EMPALME's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Delmiro Marino hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Teodosio Tabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Altamira's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
