Spectators: 6649 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 0) KUT Football Club's Zeledon Rosalio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Geronimo Licerio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Ziemniak having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Arenaza's Marcinho Luz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roman Ziemniak. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. In the 10th minute, Marcinho Luz made a precise shot to the right of Roman Ziemniak. KUT Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Marcinho Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arenaza's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcinho Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Ziemniak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 minutes, Anastasio Herrera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arenaza and the KUT Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anastasio Herrera kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geronimo Licerio in the 39th minute of play forced KUT Football Club's goalkeeper Roman Ziemniak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcinho Luz to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes KUT Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Quinteros. Iwan Luty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcinho Luz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Ziemniak having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Arenaza's Prospero Frechoso got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 75th minute, Marcinho Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roman Ziemniak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcinho Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelino Truylos got free with Alberto Iban in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Iwan Luty had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arenaza's Marcinho Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcinho Luz struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Roman Ziemniak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arenaza. Luis Gartzi charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Gartzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Arenaza. Marcinho Luz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roman Ziemniak. 3-0. Many of KUT Football Club's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. KUT Football Club may have spent more time on the ball, but Arenaza were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
