The referee ignored Fumata FC's protests and gave Julian Maldonado a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Fumata FC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Maldonado. Adhemar Dionísio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmacio Belmiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cangrejillos AFC's Siro Corderro in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Maximo Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Corderro in the 36th minute of play. Siro Corderro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Aresti having to interfere. Maximo Aresti didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siro Corderro went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Florencio Abajas charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Abajas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florencio Abajas hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Jimeno Garcia made the kick off in the second half. Maximo Aresti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Corderro in the 53rd minute of play. Siro Corderro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Bernardino Urtun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fumata FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardino Urtun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adhemar Dionísio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jimeno Garcia in the 63rd minute of play forced Fumata FC's goalkeeper Maximo Aresti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
