The supporters of Millonarios FC booed when Los Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roque Bartuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Juan Iraunkor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualterio Ostadar having to interfere. Julian Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carolo Jatsu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Justo Aires made a huge save. Justo Aires showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Oscar Ortzi struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Gualterio Ostadar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Millonarios FC. 31 minutes into the match, Millonarios FC's goalkeeper Justo Aires had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Jatsu. Gualterio Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Ortzi in the 33rd minute of play. Julian Michael was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Juan Iraunkor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualterio Ostadar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Ortzi in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Michael stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Juan Iraunkor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Gualterio Ostadar when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 60th minute Julian Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justo Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Millonarios FC's zone, Carolo Jatsu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Aires came out of the goal and Carolo Jatsu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Los Matadores FC's Julian Michael in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Millonarios FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Carolo Jatsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the game, Julian Michael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Justo Aires was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Ortzi in the 87th minute of play forced Los Matadores FC's goalkeeper Gualterio Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Michael in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Justo Aires prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Julian Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
