Rodolfo Ordono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Ortzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sarasa FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Benicio Beat was slow to take the kick. During this time Millonarios FC's players had a chance to rest. Sarasa FC's attentive Hilario Mouricio managed to snatch the ball when Lisandro Firman made a throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game. Delmiro Teodor might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justo Aires. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Delmiro Teodor ran back to his position shaking his head. Ignacio Munio made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Matias Orzaize however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Ortzi in the 42nd minute of play forced Sarasa FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Ordono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernesto Dimo fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 45th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oscar Ortzi was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Sarasa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Iraunkor came free, but Rodolfo Ordono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Juan Iraunkor put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Rodolfo Ordono. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Millonarios FC's goalkeeper Justo Aires, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Sarasa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Ordono should have stopped the shot. Sarasa FC's Rodolfo Ordono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan Iraunkor in the 87th minute of play. Igor Ferman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sarasa FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Millonarios FC.
