Ismael Natal's late challenge caught a Carboni AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ismael Natal helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Carboni AFC booed when Roldán FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Carboni AFC's Gogo Orlanda got control of the ball when Ermegildo Chuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carboni AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Candido Galtero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arturo Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Roldán FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Roldán FC's Gregorio Izel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregorio Izel was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Carboni AFC's zone, Gregorio Izel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gogo Orlanda came out of the goal and Gregorio Izel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 52nd minute, Marco Odilon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ermegildo Chuan came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Roldán FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ermegildo Chuan couldn't finish the play. After 61 minutes, Candido Galtero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carboni AFC and the Roldán FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st minute, Candido Galtero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute, Ermegildo Chuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
