Bernabe Cuarto struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Anier Tiadoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Strandvik IL. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alejo Balendin got free with Anier Tiadoro in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Strandvik IL defense, Ermegildo Chuan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of German Basualdo. The Strandvik IL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that German Basualdo should have stopped the shot. Anier Tiadoro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Cuarto in the 24th minute of play. Ermegildo Chuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Gregorio Izel notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Strandvik IL's German Basualdo. German Basualdo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 44 played minutes Strandvik IL got a freekick which was hit by Leo Ixidor. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernabe Cuarto made a kick off. Anier Tiadoro came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Strandvik IL's Alejo Balendin. But to his dismay, Alejo Balendin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. 57 minutes into the game, Strandvik IL's Alejo Balendin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anier Tiadoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Bernabe Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anier Tiadoro having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Strandvik IL fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, German Basualdo, was totally fooled by Roldán FC's Aquiles Eneto, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 70th minute, Roldán FC's Gregorio Izel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind German Basualdo. German Basualdo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. If Gregorio Izel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Alejo Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anier Tiadoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roldán FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ermegildo Chuan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Roldán FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
