Manfred Burman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albino Jaunti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Marciano Gipuzkoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Prospero Eskuin was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Patricio Cordarin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Marciano Gipuzkoa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Ibañez in the 27th minute of play forced Atené's goalkeeper Prospero Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Marciano Gipuzkoa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Prospero Eskuin, passed just outside the right post. Albino Jaunti might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manfred Burman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Jaunti ran back to his position shaking his head. Eustacio Perico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Ibañez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Prospero Eskuin. Leopoldo Ibañez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Albino Jaunti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atené's supporters rose to their feet, but Albino Jaunti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manfred Burman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The nice shot from Leopoldo Ibañez in the 43rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Prospero Eskuin had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. In the 44th minute, Leopoldo Ibañez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Gipuzkoa in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Prospero Eskuin saved Atené from getting behind. Prospero Eskuin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Ibañez went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eustacio Perico made a kick off. If Marciano Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Perico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Manfred Burman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Astudillo charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Constantino Astudillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Azul y Oro Cris booed when Atené was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Astudillo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Aldo Bizi fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atené's protests and gave Aldo Bizi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Atené was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Bizi to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute of the match Valdemar Trancoso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prospero Eskuin skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Atené's zone, Marciano Gipuzkoa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Eskuin came out of the goal and Marciano Gipuzkoa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute, Leopoldo Ibañez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes, Sebastian Claus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atené and the Azul y Oro Cris players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Azul y Oro Cris booed when Atené was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leopoldo Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prospero Eskuin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Ibañez, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Marciano Gipuzkoa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Prospero Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aldo Bizi was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 95 minutes had been played. A collision led to Atené getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Aldo Bizi hit a great ball. In the 98th minute, Marciano Gipuzkoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There was no doubt that Azul y Oro Cris were the better team. Azul y Oro Cris's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
