After 25 minutes, Adolfo Eneas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azul y Oro Cris and the Salguero players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ismael Berdoi came out of the goal and Leopoldo Ibañez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Romulo Orkatz made the kick off in the second half. Marciano Gipuzkoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ismael Berdoi having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian Dalmau during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leopoldo Ibañez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Ismael Berdoi made a huge save. After 61 played minutes, Azul y Oro Cris's Valdemar Trancoso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ismael Berdoi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Azul y Oro Cris reached it. After 62 minutes of play Salguero's Christian Dalmau was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Salguero's Ismael Berdoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Salguero from getting a goal against them. Ismael Berdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Leopoldo Ibañez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Ismael Berdoi made a huge save. Ismael Berdoi came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Azul y Oro Cris's Leopoldo Ibañez. But to his dismay, Leopoldo Ibañez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Salguero's Ismael Berdoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Salguero from getting a goal against them. Ismael Berdoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Gipuzkoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Leo Gar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Manfred Burman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ismael Berdoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Gipuzkoa in the 89th minute of the match. If Marciano Gipuzkoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Azul y Oro Cris played a much better game than Salguero and deserved their victory. The Salguero players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
