Spectators: 7138 (Terracing: 5411, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eustacio Perico took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustacio Perico in the 4th minute of play forced Legionarios FC's goalkeeper Adolfo Furtado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Danilo Mel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Atené and the Legionarios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Atené got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Mel. After a defensive mix-up in Atené's zone, Omar Tadzio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Prospero Eskuin came out of the goal and Omar Tadzio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mario Hartz fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Legionarios FC's protests and gave Mario Hartz a yellow card for diving instead. Mario Hartz kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Danilo Mel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Legionarios FC's Adolfo Furtado didn't even have to move. Legionarios FC's Adolfo Furtado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Jaunti in the 26th minute of play. Samuel Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Prospero Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albino Jaunti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Furtado having to interfere. In the 48th minute, Gilberto Azubeli fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Prospero Eskuin, passed just outside the right post.

Prospero Eskuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Medero in the 52nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Abarca during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 53 minutes into the game, one of Atené:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Atené's Amadeo Cordaryal got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Furtado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eustacio Perico showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 62 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Legionarios FC's Camilo Mincho got a free kick in the 67th minute. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Eustacio Perico sped through Legionarios FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Adolfo Furtado. In the 75th match minute, Atené was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantino Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. Albino Jaunti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Adolfo Furtado made a huge save. Samuel Medero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Legionarios FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Atené's performance. The match ended with a win for Atené.
