In the 16th match minute, NY Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Claus to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the match, NY Red Bulls's goal looked a bit too open when Victorio Ekain came free, but Tomas Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Iratzeder made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silvano Fagondo in the 21st minute. 21 minutes into the match, NY Red Bulls's goalkeeper Tomas Iratzeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvano Fagondo. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Barto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvio Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Iratzeder having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Nicanor Barto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villanueba F.C and the NY Red Bulls players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 56 played minutes Villanueba F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Barto. In the 64th minute, Silvano Fagondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villanueba F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 66th match minute, NY Red Bulls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Niva to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 70 minutes, Silvano Fagondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villanueba F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Fagondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorio Ekain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tomas Iratzeder read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Silvano Fagondo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villanueba F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silvano Fagondo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Nunez Quintyn notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Villanueba F.C's Prudencio Remigio. Prudencio Remigio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Silvano Fagondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Iratzeder having to interfere. A collision led to NY Red Bulls getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Serafino Niva hit a great ball. Villanueba F.C's Silvano Fagondo got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 91 minutes, Victorio Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villanueba F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Ekain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 91 minutes, Nicanor Barto made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. NY Red Bulls's Tomas Iratzeder tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 95 played minutes Villanueba F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Montel.
