Cabildo's Anacleto Laurin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Fagondo in the 39th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Villanueba F.C's goalkeeper Prudencio Remigio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Goizeder. A collision led to Villanueba F.C getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ermegildo Montel hit a great ball. A hard shot 46 in the game by Genaro Goizeder from a close distance when the talented Prudencio Remigio managed to make a qualified save. Villanueba F.C's players were relieved.

Venancio Bermudo kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Villanueba F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Goizeder came free, but Prudencio Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute Humberto Jeraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prudencio Remigio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, Villanueba F.C's Silvano Fagondo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anacleto Laurin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 77th match minute, Villanueba F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Ekain to maneuver through the defense. 79 minutes into the game, Andres Ioritz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
