An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Pietro in the 4th minute of play forced FC El Aguante's goalkeeper Apolo Lawrence to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Hanni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Apolo Lawrence tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amancio Pietro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Lawrence having to interfere. If Amancio Pietro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC El Aguante booed when El chairaje fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Ondino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Balesio struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Braulio Kepa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC El Aguante. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amancio Pietro during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC El Aguante booed when El chairaje fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Pietro didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eustacio Ondino was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 15 minutes had been played. In the 15th minute, Eustacio Ondino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guaberto Tabbys short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Braulio Kepa to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. FC El Aguante's Apolo Lawrence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Hanni in the 23rd minute of play. Samuel Honesto's late challenge caught a FC El Aguante's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Honesto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 24th minute, Samuel Honesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 26 minutes, Marcos Sarracino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC El Aguante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcos Sarracino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El chairaje fc's Filomeno Hanni got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Hanni in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Lawrence saved FC El Aguante from getting behind. If Guaberto Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to El chairaje fc getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Armando Montes hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, El chairaje fc's goalkeeper Braulio Kepa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Everardo Dacio. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Balesio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Hanni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Apolo Lawrence made a huge save. When Abelardo Balesio came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the FC El Aguante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Balesio couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the match, El chairaje fc's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Tabby came free, but Braulio Kepa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filomeno Hanni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filomeno Hannis short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Apolo Lawrence to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 69th minute, Eustacio Costante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Filomeno Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Hats fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Lawrence having to interfere. Filomeno Hanni's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Apolo Lawrence skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Guaberto Tabby kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. If Filomeno Hanni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, FC El Aguante was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Urbano Berbiz to maneuver through the defense. Filomeno Hanni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Apolo Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Honesto in the 87th minute of play. El chairaje fc's Filomeno Hanni got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Luciano Lizardi managed to get in a good position for a shot. El chairaje fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Lizardi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Lawrence breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, FC El Aguante's Apolo Lawrence got control of the ball when Filomeno Hanni tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match, Luciano Lizardi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Apolo Lawrence saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
