Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Domingos Rodriguez in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Remigio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roman Steven was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvio Weather showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Roman Steven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Barto's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. After having played for 23 minutes, Godfredo Lucian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villanueba F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Lucian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicanor Barto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. Prudencio Remigio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Godfredo Lucian might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Roman Steven. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Godfredo Lucian ran back to his position shaking his head. Domingos Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Silvano Fagondo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Steven. Mosmota AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvano Fagondo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mosmota AFC's goalkeeper Roman Steven, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Barto to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Godfredo Lucian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villanueba F.C and the Mosmota AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Villanueba F.C's Godfredo Lucian got a free kick in the 51st minute. Silvano Fagondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Roman Steven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Godfredo Lucian kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Villanueba F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
