FC El Aguante's Apolo Lawrence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC El Aguante from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urbano Berbiz in the 12th minute of play forced Villanueba F.C's goalkeeper Prudencio Remigio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute, Silvano Fagondo had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After a rather tough play, FC El Aguante's Reynaldo Dimo got a free kick in the 15th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC El Aguante's zone, Godfredo Lucian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Apolo Lawrence came out of the goal and Godfredo Lucian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th match minute, Villanueba F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victorio Ekain to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Villanueba F.C getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Raimundo Breckenfeld hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Everardo Dacio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Apolo Lawrence made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicanor Barto in the 23rd minute of play. Guaberto Tabby struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Prudencio Remigio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC El Aguante. FC El Aguante's Apolo Lawrence proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save FC El Aguante from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Villanueba F.C's Raimundo Breckenfeld got a free kick in the 29th minute. When Guaberto Tabby came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC El Aguante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guaberto Tabby couldn't finish the play. Victorio Ekain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Apolo Lawrence having to interfere.

The wind increased when Nicanor Barto made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Abelardo Balesio took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Prudencio Remigio to make any attempt to save it. Santos Laurgain kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Abelardo Balesio managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC El Aguante's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Balesio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Remigio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ermegildo Montel charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Montel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th minute, Ermegildo Montel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Apolo Lawrence came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Villanueba F.C's Victorio Ekain. But to his dismay, Victorio Ekain quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Victorio Ekain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Lawrence read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Godfredo Lucian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Lawrence was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Prudencio Remigio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Balesio in the 79th minute of the match. Villanueba F.C's Prudencio Remigio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Berbiz in the 80th minute of play. Guaberto Tabby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Victorio Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villanueba F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Victorio Ekain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Apolo Lawrence breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Villanueba F.C's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
