In the 4thth minute of the game Nicanor Barto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mosmota AFC's Roman Steven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 4th minute, Silvano Fagondo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roman Steven was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mosmota AFC's zone, Godfredo Lucian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Steven came out of the goal and Godfredo Lucian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Godfredo Lucian scored 0-2 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roman Steven, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 14 played minutes Mosmota AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raul Leheren. 23 minutes into the match, Mosmota AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Godfredo Lucian came free, but Roman Steven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. German Chuss short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Prudencio Remigio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 28 played minutes Villanueba F.C got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Barto. When Edmondo Massimi fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villanueba F.C's protests and gave Edmondo Massimi a yellow card for diving instead. Edmondo Massimi kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The long shot by Orlando Joseph in the 30th minute really tested Prudencio Remigio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 31st match minute, Villanueba F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Laurgain to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Villanueba F.C booed when Mosmota AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justo Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Steven came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Villanueba F.C's Godfredo Lucian. But to his dismay, Godfredo Lucian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Godfredo Lucian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Steven having to interfere. Silvano Fagondo took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Steven. Roman Steven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 46th minute Silvano Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Steven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villanueba F.C's Godfredo Lucian got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicanor Barto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute of the match Marciano Intxixu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Prudencio Remigio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 58 played minutes Mosmota AFC got a freekick which was hit by German Chus. If Godfredo Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st match minute, Villanueba F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santos Laurgain to maneuver through the defense. Domingos Rodriguez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Prudencio Remigio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prudencio Remigio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Chus, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Nicanor Barto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mosmota AFC's Roman Steven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Mosmota AFC's Justo Piearres nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prudencio Remigio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. After 80 minutes, Victorio Ekain mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villanueba F.C and the Mosmota AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Villanueba F.C getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Victorio Ekain hit a great ball. Roman Steven came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Villanueba F.C's Silvano Fagondo. But to his dismay, Silvano Fagondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Silvano Fagondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villanueba F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Fagondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Steven breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
