The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th match minute, Sol de America was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lisandro Mitxel to maneuver through the defense. Lorenzo Abaunza took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Atilano Frantzes. Atilano Frantzes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Hermengildo Ellande's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Armando Fe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Amadeo Segio's late challenge caught a Sol de America's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amadeo Segio helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sol de America booed when C.A.CHACO FOR EVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amadeo Segio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Todor's late challenge caught a Sol de America's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Todor helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to C.A.CHACO FOR EVER getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Christian Todor hit a great ball. When Lorenzo Abaunza came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Sol de America fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lorenzo Abaunza couldn't finish the play. If Hilario Dalmu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Armando Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as C.A.CHACO FOR EVER's German Lia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Armando Fe. That made the score 1-1 after 33 minutes of play. The supporters of C.A.CHACO FOR EVER booed when Sol de America was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lorenzo Abaunza struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Atilano Frantzes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sol de America. Hermengildo Ellande received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Armando Fe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vinicio Sancho kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell German Lia to make the kick off. Sol de America's Armando Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Lia in the 53rd minute of play. Armando Fe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Ellande in the 55th minute of play. If Lorenzo Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Atilano Frantzes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Abaunza's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 66th minute Hermengildo Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sol de America's Armando Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Ellande in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Hilario Dalmu fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 80 minutes into the match, C.A.CHACO FOR EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Abaunza came free, but Atilano Frantzes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Valente kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Armando Fe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, German Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.CHACO FOR EVER's supporters crossed their fingers, but German Lia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 90th minute Hermengildo Ellande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Fe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermengildo Ellande couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
