In the 33rdth minute of the game Fausto Olando who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sol de America's Armando Fe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Jairo Panfilo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Fausto Olando came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Entrenando Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fausto Olando couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Cai in the 38th minute of play forced Sol de America's goalkeeper Armando Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Sol de America's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Cai came free, but Armando Fe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience was convinced that Lorenzo Abaunza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Ekialde was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Genaro Ekialde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Abaunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After having played for 74 minutes, Hilario Dalmu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sergio Cai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sergio Cai in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Fe saved Sol de America from getting behind. Fausto Olando was extremely unlucky when he, in the 89th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Armando Fe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Cai, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
