An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Dimo in the 7th minute of play forced Castelar's goalkeeper Leandro Casado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Castelar getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Baldomero Vasco hit a great ball. Eriberto Dimo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Leandro Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Melchor Guter mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jobson and the Castelar players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Eriberto Dimo came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Jobson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eriberto Dimo couldn't finish the play. Leandro Casado was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Eriberto Dimo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Eriberto Dimo really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Melchor Guter struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Leandro Casado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jobson. 26 minutes into the game, Leonardo Salomon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castelar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jobson the free kick. A collision led to Castelar getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Leonardo Salomon hit a great ball. Melchor Guters short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Leandro Casado to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 30 played minutes Castelar got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Salomon. After recieving a nice pass, Jobson's Lucio Elequemedo tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Melchor Guter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Leandro Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jobson's Eriberto Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st match minute, Jobson was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Miro to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Ceferino Cerilo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Eriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Cerilo in the 44th minute of play forced Jobson's goalkeeper Ambrosio Eriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Cerilo in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrosio Eriz saved Jobson from getting behind. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eriberto Dimo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Castelar's Leandro Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Dimo in the 51st minute of play. After 54 minutes, Edgardo Haitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jobson and the Castelar players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Jobson got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Haitz. Modesto Inguma hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Lucio Elequemedo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. A collision led to Castelar getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Ceferino Cerilo hit a great ball. Castelar's Leandro Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Haitz in the 68th minute of play. Baldomero Vasco kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Eriberto Dimo might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leandro Casado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Dimo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 75th minute Edgardo Haitz suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Ceferino Cerilo was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Baldomero Vasco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melchor Guter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melchor Guter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Casado having to interfere. If Carmelo Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 94th minute, Carmelo Jusepe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jobson fully deserved thier win.
