The audience was convinced that Eusebio Corderro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cosme Lope was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. Ciro Guillelmus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Bide in the 36th minute of the match. Ciro Guillelmus made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Fidel Calvet sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute Leonardo Justin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Dacio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Lope having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cosme Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Dacio in the 66th minute of the match. After 69 minutes, Eliseo Marcones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vizcachani AFC and the CHIME FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of CHIME FC booed when Vizcachani AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Marcones didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Bide in the 71st minute of play forced CHIME FC's goalkeeper Ciro Guillelmus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Urko hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Cosme Lope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leopoldo Dacio in the 76th minute of play. Cosme Lope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebio Corderro in the 77th minute. Ciro Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Bide, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
