An unexpectedly hard shot by Albino Llanos in the 3rd minute of play forced APRILIA's goalkeeper Sebastian Justin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Idacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Galsino in the 5th minute of the match. When Fabricio Columbo fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored APRILIA's protests and gave Fabricio Columbo a yellow card for diving instead. Fabricio Columbo kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Erasmo Hondo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of APRILIA's Sebastian Justin. Sebastian Justin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the APRILIA defense, Albino Llanos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Justin. The APRILIA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Justin should have stopped the shot. Melquiades Faro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Galsino might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leopoldo Idacio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Armando Galsino ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Sparkling's Erasmo Hondo got a free kick in the 28th minute. A collision led to Sparkling getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Siro Urtzi hit a great ball. Fabricio Columbo shot from long distance in the 30th minute, but Leopoldo Idacio was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. After 36 played minutes APRILIA got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Feliz. When Leonardo Bittor came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Sparkling fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Bittor couldn't finish the play. Sebastian Justin came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sparkling's Albino Llanos. But to his dismay, Albino Llanos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Leopoldo Idacio made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Melquiades Faro sent off a good shot on target.

A collision led to Sparkling getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Braulio Eguntsenti hit a great ball. When Albino Llanos came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Sparkling fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albino Llanos couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Hernan Berto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in APRILIA's zone, Albino Llanos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Justin came out of the goal and Albino Llanos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Bittors short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Sebastian Justin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Armando Galsino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Idacio having to interfere. APRILIA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Albino Llanos scored to the left of an out of position Sebastian Justin, making the score, 0-4. If Armando Galsino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Galsino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Idacio having to interfere. Sebastian Justin made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Leonardo Bittor sent off a good shot on target. Leopoldo Idacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Galsino in the 91st minute of play. Armando Galsino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Idacio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sparkling eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
