The coaching staff of Villa San Carlos protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Maximino Polo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 3rd minute, one of Villa San Carlos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Villa San Carlos. The referee gave Lescano a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Albano Kinsen, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Villa San Carlos's Baldomero Firmin. 0-1. Dario Timo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Venancio Kaiet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa San Carlos. Vladimiro Orland came free with the goalkeeper in the 16th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Venancio Kaiet could save by the left post. A collision led to Villa San Carlos getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Silvano Marino hit a great ball. Baldomero Firmin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nunez Fidensio's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Vladimiro Orland blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Venancio Kaiet having to make a save. When Silvano Marino fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa San Carlos's protests and gave Silvano Marino a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 33rd minute of the game. One of Villa San Carlos:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Lescano:s goal. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Lescano. Albano Kinsen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Baldomero Firmin. 0-2. After 40 played minutes, Lescano's Albano Kinsen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Baldomero Firmin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Lescano reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Lescano's zone, Vladimiro Orland stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Kaiet came out of the goal and Vladimiro Orland tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albano Kinsen hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Baldomero Firmin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Primitivo Domeka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimiro Orland was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Vladimiro Orland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nunez Fidensio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Firmin having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Orland in the 67th minute of play forced Lescano's goalkeeper Venancio Kaiet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Txanton hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Nunez Fidensio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Baldomero Firmin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Orland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnaldo Txanton kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Albano Kinsen took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 93rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Baldomero Firmin. Villa San Carlos's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 96 minutes, Vladimiro Orland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villa San Carlos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vladimiro Orland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
