After a defensive mix-up in La Piojera's zone, Alfredo Papo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Playo came out of the goal and Alfredo Papo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 22nd minute Adrian Enetz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Playo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd match minute, La Piojera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Quintun to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Enetz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Eugenio Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bartolo Karmel made a kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Roque Bidari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Piojera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roque Bidari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niceto Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Bidari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pastor Dayam hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Roque Bidari had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Urtats. Deportivo Roca C.A's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roque Bidari was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Bartolo Karmel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niceto Urtats read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Niceto Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Karmel in the 64th minute of play. Roque Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Urtats having to interfere. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The La Piojera fans cheered their team off the field, for while Deportivo Roca C.A had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
