Baldomero Firmin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiburcio Ur, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Pedro Jatsu was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 39th minute. Bella Vista C.F.'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 41st minute, Pedro Jatsu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomero Firmin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiburcio Ur in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The Villa San Carlos players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
