Uriel Gelmiro charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uriel Gelmiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to La Piojera getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Uriel Gelmiro hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Resbalito FC's zone, Bartolo Karmel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eloy Txilar came out of the goal and Bartolo Karmel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Roque Bidari took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eloy Txilar. Eloy Txilar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Genaro Naelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eloy Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Karmel in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to La Piojera getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Abelardo Xabat hit a great ball. Reynaldo Cordairo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Playo. La Piojera's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bartolo Karmel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Txilar having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Resbalito FC got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Ilixo. After 30 played minutes Resbalito FC got a freekick which was hit by Teobaldo Ereinotz. Eloy Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Karmel in the 40th minute of the match. When Cipriano Quintun fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Piojera's protests and gave Cipriano Quintun a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, La Piojera's Cipriano Quintun got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After 45 minutes, Horacio Oxel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Resbalito FC and the La Piojera players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 45 played minutes Resbalito FC got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Oxel.

In the 51st minute Cipriano Quintun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Txilar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Resbalito FC booed when La Piojera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Cordarrol didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Resbalito FC's Reynaldo Cordairo to fire away a dangerous shot which Eugenio Playo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Teobaldo Ereinotz struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Eugenio Playo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Resbalito FC. La Piojera's Eugenio Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Ereinotz in the 61st minute of play. Genaro Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Playo having to interfere. Genaro Naelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Eugenio Playo made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Ereinotz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eugenio Playo was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. La Piojera's Eugenio Playo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Ereinotz in the 72nd minute of play. Cipriano Quintun got his second yellow card in the match during the 74th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 75th minute, Cipriano Quintun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Resbalito FC's Teobaldo Ereinotz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eugenio Playo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Resbalito FC's Genaro Naelio got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melquiades Ilixo hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Eugenio Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Ereinotz in the 86th minute of play. When Genaro Naelio came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Resbalito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Naelio couldn't finish the play. Eugenio Playo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Ereinotz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roque Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Txilar having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
