Ambrosio Fonso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Fonso in the 38th minute of play forced Insomnio's goalkeeper Gerardo Figueroa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Figueroa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Fonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Fonso notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Insomnio's Gerardo Figueroa. Gerardo Figueroa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dante Gerazan was the one to do the kick off. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Gerardo Figueroa was a little too slow when Ambrosio Fonso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-3. In the 91stth minute of the game Ambrosio Fonso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Insomnio's Gerardo Figueroa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. All Donkeys F. C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
