After a rather tough play, Bufones & Saltimbanquis's Ciro Bernal got a free kick in the 5th minute. Alfonso Ayala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Urre in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Bufones & Saltimbanquis's Artemio Atauri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Isaac Urritz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 13 minutes into the match, Pampita FC's Saverio Idacio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Ayala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Urki notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pampita FC's Isaac Urritz. Isaac Urritz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artemio Atauri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bufones & Saltimbanquis's Alfonso Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Urre in the 26th minute of play. Artemio Atauri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Bufones & Saltimbanquis's Alfonso Ayala got control of the ball when Saverio Idacio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pampita FC's Saverio Idacio got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Artemio Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 45 minutes, Herminio Urre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pampita FC and the Bufones & Saltimbanquis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Herminio Urre hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herminio Urre made a kick off. Artemio Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaac Urritz having to interfere. Isaac Urritz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Urki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saverio Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Pampita FC's Herminio Urre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfonso Ayala narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pampita FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Lorenzo Urki scored to the left of an out of position Isaac Urritz, making the score, 1-3. Saverio Idacio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Saverio Idacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gogo Vitin's late challenge caught a Bufones & Saltimbanquis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gogo Vitin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Gogo Vitin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 87 minutes into the match, Pampita FC's goalkeeper Isaac Urritz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artemio Atauri. 92 minutes into the game, Lorenzo Urki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isaac Urritz. Lorenzo Urki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bufones & Saltimbanquis eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
