The supporters of Bufones & Saltimbanquis booed when La Fusta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Iyan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lorenzo Urki in the 41st minute of play. Bufones & Saltimbanquis's Artemio Atauri got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 46th minute of the match, Tobias Valery got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfonso Ayala was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
