The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Garoa hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Aldo Otsando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Simon Urtzi fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Reserva's protests and gave Simon Urtzi a yellow card for diving instead. Simon Urtzi kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Leonel Domiku made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Otsando in the 27th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Hipolito Remigio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Angelino Vimaro. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Reserva's Victorio Eutor suffered a sore thigh after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Marcial Benino's late challenge caught a Reserva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcial Benino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Reserva booed when Club Atletico RiverPlate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Benino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernardo Cresitobalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Omar Lesardo might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Domiku. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Lesardo ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Cresitobalo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th play minute Aldo Otsando came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Leonel Domiku. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico RiverPlate's Marcial Benino got a free kick in the 59th minute. Angelino Vimaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Cresitobalo in the 62nd minute of the match. Bernardo Cresitobalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Club Atletico RiverPlate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aldo Otsando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernardo Cresitobalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Angelino Vimaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aldo Otsandos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Leonel Domiku to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 91st minute, one of Club Atletico RiverPlate:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atletico RiverPlate. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Reserva. Anacleto Normando stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Angelino Vimaro. 2-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Otsando during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reserva were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Club Atletico RiverPlate for a fine match.
