La Fusta FC's Cristian Belarmo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Marini AFC. La Fusta FC's Orlando Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Benvido in the 26th minute of play. After 27 minutes, Clodoveo Jakes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Fusta FC and the Marini AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 played minutes La Fusta FC got a freekick which was hit by Clodoveo Jakes. 30 minutes into the match, Marini AFC's goalkeeper Luis Piarres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bartolo Criston. Marini AFC's Luis Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Panfilo in the 35th minute of play. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Marini AFC! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Panfilo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Criston in the 56th minute of play forced Marini AFC's goalkeeper Luis Piarres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Robustiano Hondo fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marini AFC's protests and gave Robustiano Hondo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Marini AFC's Robustiano Hondo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Luis Piarres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bartolo Criston went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Tobias Panfilo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Piarres having to interfere. Luis Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Panfilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Marini AFC booed when La Fusta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Jakes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gervasio Gorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Duarte having to interfere. Bartolo Criston received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Luis Piarres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Marini AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for La Fusta FC.
